Client Claims / Experiences:
Audio Experiences:
Voices and footsteps have been heard in the lobby and
staircase area when no one was present.
Visual Experiences:
Patrons have seen, and conversed with the apparition of a
young girl in room 16. Near the staircase one of the
employees has seen a blurry distortion moving on the
stairs. A patron staying in room 12 felt a depression on
the side of her bed which she thought was her dog which
was staying in the room with her. When she looked down
her dog was not on the bed, but on the floor looking at
the depression, which was like that of a person sitting on
the bed. As she watched, the depression raised up, and
the dog followed something unseen across the room with its
eyes, while growling.
Physical Experiences:
A patron staying in room 11 left her room, then realized
she had left something she needed and turned back to re-
enter the room. When she tried the door, the second
deadbolt had locked behind her, which she did not even
have a key for. While staying in room 1, a patron was
dozing off in bed when he heard a “thunk”, he assumed that
he had knocked the remote control off onto the floor, when
he looked down, the remote was on the floor around 6 feet
away, from where it should have fell. Also in room 1 a
patron had lost his room key and asked the maids to look
for it when they cleaned his room. When he returned that
evening, the key was on the bed, but the maids who had
cleaned the room and looked for the key, had not found the
key and placed it on the bed.
Investigation Summery:
Having been fortunate enough to investigate the beautiful Weinhard before on three
separate occasions, we were very familiar with the experiences both patrons and
employees have had in the hotel. We set up our stationary cameras and audio in rooms
that have had claims associated with them over the years, such as Room 1, Room 12,
Room 16, The lobby, and The basement. After our tech crew set up our equipment, we
began our investigation.
At the stroke of 10pm we began our investigation. We divided our team in to 5
groups, so that at any given time we had a team at the home base in the Weinhard,
upstairs in the Weinhard, Downstairs, and we also had two teams situated in the Dayton
Depot since we were simultaneously investigating it as well. Our teams investigated
all rooms with previous claims of activity, and rotated rooms approximately every 30
mins.
Our team members, and members of the press that accompanied us that night did
have some personal experiences. One of the reporters began to feel very “chilly” and
“freaked out” in room #1. This may be due to her lack of exposure to investigating at
night, or perhaps it was paranormal in nature. We at Eastern Washington Paranormal do
not consider personal experiences evidence, but we do relay them to the client. We
wrapped up our cables and ended our investigation around 3:45am.
Over the next couple weeks we reviewed all of the many hours of audio and video
footage we had recorded at the investigation. In all of those hours we did end up
with one very interesting audio clip that we believe to contain an EVP.
In the following clip three faint whispers can be heard, the loudest of which happens
at 30 seconds into the file. In the room were one male, and one female investigator.

Final Conclusion:
Due to the many personal experiences that our entire team has had in our several
visits, the evidence obtained in those investigations, and the correlation between the
personal experiences, evidence, and the stories of the patrons and staff, we at
Eastern Washington Paranormal believe the Weinhard Hotel to have legitimate Paranormal
Activity.
